We receive a pallet of food donations. Because of supply chain disruption, the shipments have to be supplemented by our own donations. Canned proteins like tuna and peanut butter are the most sorely needed donations.
On the left side of the picture you'll see prepackaged bags and the right is all the supplemental food. After the food is sorted it's put in cardboard boxes and delivered to CASA headquarters.
We couldn't help these families without your donations! We have a donation drop off at 145 Paulison Ave Passaic every Tuesday from 12:00-2:00 pm and 4:00-500 pm.
Emergency Relief Site
On June 4, 2020 an emergency relief site was established for foster families associated with Passaic County CASA. In partnership with the Passaic County Pandemic Partnership, we are collecting, processing, and packaging donations of food and supplies. Here's how it works, our mission partners CUMAC and Star of Hope Ministries provide pallets of shelf stable food on Thursdays. We supplement their shipments with donations from the community and pack family kits. These kits feed a family for a week. We can't do any of this alone. Please consider volunteering or donating today! Together we can make a difference.
